The models RIBA, Care-O-bot, Pepper, and Paro were considered. The questionnaire was based on the Technology Usage Inventory. The results show that senior citizens do not generally reject nursing robots in hospitals, but that acceptance and skepticism depend strongly on the application scenario. It was observed that the provision of information on care robots can arouse seniors’ curiosity for new technologies. The vast majority of senior citizens surveyed think that nursing robots can relieve nursing staff physically and temporally. It can be assumed that the more those affected are involved in the development and integration of the technology into nursing practice, the greater the acceptance will be.</p>}, number={2}, journal={TATuP - Zeitschrift für Technikfolgenabschätzung in Theorie und Praxis}, author={Honekamp, Ivonne and Sauer, Larissa and Wache, Thomas and Honekamp, Wilfried}, year={2019}, month={Jul.}, pages={58–63} }
