Abstract

For a long time, claims for neutrality and impartiality have been considered an almost self-evident trade mark of TA. This myth, however, has limited the debate on normative aspects, which should be focus of discussion considering emerging authoritarian tendencies in Western democracies. This topic’s guest editors are Linda Nierling (ITAS, KIT) and Helge Torgersen (ITA, Vienna).
